Yurkos song of the day: Born to be Wild-
by Steppenwolf
"Comedy's a dead art form. Now
tragedy, that's funny."
Waffles everyone with a saturday night post from the Yurko of the boring nature. Just putting up this here post because well people want a new one (namley two people, mostly the only two people who regularly read this) so here i am making a new one, although life of late has been rather boring so using my magical powers of telling the future i forsee this being a rather short post.
.. yeah err anywho bored yet again on a saturday night; which i have realised has become a rather cliche thing for me to talk about but meh its not like i have anything else to say really. Well that and the fact that as of late (as jose or jenn will attest to) my brain has been crapping out some rather large and stinky verbal diarehhia (yay lack of spelling skills). This of course being those moments when immediatly after you say something your brains just like "hooolllddd on a second, this makes no sense." or "what the hell did i just say??" etc etc. Regardless it makes for yurko looking like a rather large idiot but hey ususally it gets a good larf so i guess its a trade off (not a very good one but still a tradeoff).
As stated above, been rather bored as of late mostly because i dont know but all the stuff that i used to be able to waste a rather large amt of time with aka the computer, tv etc. i have found rather boring. Basically because well no one seems to be on much anymore to talk to which was what i usually used to spend time doing (talking to ppl and such) so yah without people to talk to, makes for a rather boring internet. TV has been a bore mostly because all the show i watch are either not showing new episodes for some reason (Angel, Las Vegas, Smallville etc) or i can never remeber when the hell they are on (Law and Order: Criminal Intent). Mostly though its just because the current crop of tv is well crap. Now usually if im that bored that tv is not interesting i would normally play that metal gear game that i got but sadly i finished that this weekend due to the incessant boredom that was today....
wow a whole paragraph on why lifes boring... sorry bout that
Finally finished the god awful tiny novel, which is a good thing because no longer will my hands hurt trying to hold the damn thing but no more strain on the eyes; yay!. A rather good book though, considering it focused around Death who is one of prattchets more amusing charachters in the series. But yah a good read although still doesnt top my personal favourite by him, that of course being Small Gods; comon how can no one like a good book that pokes some fun at organized religion while raising a few good points along the way. Well that and the whole last section with Om talking is genius but hey if you dont know what im talking about Read the damn book!. Reading.. its daammnnn good for ya
Hrmm what else to talk about that no one will care. Oh yah, just thought id mention the fact about how saddening it is when youve seen all these varying good movies or shows or songs or books etc but no one else has. This is always a thing that bites because well then there is no one to talk about it with. But hey its not my fault its just all of your collective faults, damn bastards. On that note, everyone should go out and rent Lost in Translation, yes i know ive already rambled about that a while back but i realised that its such a damn good movie and no one has seen it (well minus neil, kudos to you sir); but yeah its billy murray at his finest so take a look.
Finally i just thought that i would mention yet another movie that no one has seen/lay more allocades upon the greatness that is the beatles. I borrowed their movie Help from jenn last weekend but im pretty sure that i forgot to mention watching it. regardless ive came to the realisation that not only are they great musicians but dear god are they funny. Sure the movie has no real point and is totally silly but its a really great film, although my only complaint is that george harrison barley talks; i got the feeling that he could have been pretty funny but he just didnt want to. Regardless a totally zany, hilarious film that all should see (On that note, if i remeber next posts quote will be probably my favourite line from that film as uttered by Ringo Starr). Err yah well thats basically it, normally i would say something like gonna go watch my futurama dvds but alas ive finished those off as well so now ive got nothing at all to do... DAMN NO ONE BEING ONLINE!!!
Till Next Ramble
