Yurkos song of the day: It's About Time-
by Van Halen
"I could pound your head 'til you thinks that's what happened."
Yet another post, not so much delay ala the last two but still not really a great record; mostly cause for some unknown reason i was waiting for 5 comments before making a new one. That being the case though i clearly realised it would never happen and well all of you readers would start bitching for a new one as is the tradition so i thought might as well jump the shark and make a new one before the complaining commenses. Wow! isnt that an ingenious idear?
Hmm what else to talk about minus that in which makes no sense. The week has been rather same old, long weekend kinda bit chunks; spent the entire bloody thing doing physics only to find that the bumps the test back to well today. Yes i know a later test is always a good thing but well damnit all that work and i could have put it off one more day/actually done something this weekend . DAMN YOU PULLEN!! English is english as always, band has been an utter and complete joke such and so forth... GRRrrrrr have i mentioned how much i utterly hate colds? well i just did so now you know. Most especially when its so god damn close to a big event, this of course being Grad on sunday, which should be at the very least interesting. Not really holding big expectations for it but meh what can ya do. Bitch and complain of course...Commense Bitching!!!!!
Bitching over!!!!!
On to the meat of this post, which is to be of a mostly musical nature. This of course implying a very very short post. First and foremost todays song of the day is the latest release from Van Halen.. and let me tell you everything that i complained about it being fronted by Hagar and not Roth can be flung out a window and thusly stepped upon because that there song kicks huge amounts of serious ass!! THis is the link to download it btw and i really reccomend that you do, because its fuckin sweet and now im really looking forward to their new up and coming very best of collection.
Van Halen- It's About Time This of course means that im rather sad about the lack thereof them coming to calgary with there reunion tour but meh what ya gonna do. And no bitching isnt in order, my bitching points were all used up already :P Moving on, went and bought some new cds this weekend, They being the latest release from Eric Clapton; Me and Mr. Johnson and the cd he put out with B.B. King entitled Riding with the King. Be sure to see a few songs off both cuts in the coming weeks showing up on the songs of the day considering that both are really solid releases. Some good old style classic blues on the one and that solid rockish blues that Clapton does so very well on the other. Top notch on both accounts.
Hmmm..... damnit what the heck else did i want to talk about upon here. Have u seen those american express ads with jerry seinfeld and superman? probably not but regardless there pretty darn funny. Can see them on the web methinks, gotta search for it but be sure to cause there pretty good. Huzzahs abound for the flames and their win of game one, my call is flames in 5 or 6, im leaning towards 6. Albeit i havent been right yet so who knows. Schools almost done, thank god. Ive really lost any and all intrest in school and well high school as a whole for that matter. Bring on the Summer!! Also been reading a rather good book latly. Entitled Radio Free Albemuth (not sure on the spelling of that last word) but its the last book that Phillip Dick wrote before he died in 82 and its pretty cool considering that its remarkably different from most books that ive ever read, although on that note its most definetly not a book for everyone. A good read for me though, what with my quirky tastes and all.
Yeah well im done, ran out of stuff to say, which i remarkable what with my rambling skills and such so yeah this will be it for todays, hopefully some longer ones to come.
(Damn yooouuu WB Yurko wants his Angel back!!)
Till Next Ramble
