Draw Us Lines by the Constantines happens to be a good song
Blame Anthony for this one, or myself for that matter but I am in the mood for crapping out another steaming, whiney post that will not affect the world in any way. Yes the rather odd and disgusting imagery is intentional. Must have something to do with my mood but what does the internet know.
Just curious but did I not attend the mandatory seminar on how to be a success in the far-off land of "Da-Ting"? (terribly lame joke I know) After this many failed attempts, misinterpreted friendliness and a general lack of progress on any front (such as getting on the bus that takes you to the connection so you can reach the branch office to fill in the application to get in the wait line for preparations to put your foot in the door) I am starting to think that maybe I never even received the X-factor. I am not as horribly unconfident as I was back in high school. I would like to think that I am slightly wittier and intelligent than your average person and female friends that I hold in high esteem have said that I am decently non-repugnant looking. One would think that these qualities would have led to some success in the last 3 years but such does not seem to be the case. The only possibility I can think of would be my inability to find situations to meet new people. For such an easy sounding concept it is certainly harder than I would think. Ladies of the inter-nets assist this distraught child of the Ducktales Age (as it will be henceforth referred to) before he gives up on life and joins a one man hermit band. Wow that was rambling and pointless... Ahh its good to be back.
Well now that I have succumbed to that last cliche of an internet blog (whining about failure at relationships, love etc) I will go crank up some Simple Plan and cry about how bad my upper middle class Canadian life is.A touch of humour to leave you with Laughter inducing clickables
